Civility is the public self-responsibility



Civility is the public self-responsibility and staff duty of care of about how to develop the opportunity to educate patrons about what is acceptable civil behaviors that create safety in society. The patron’s good communication skills and staff good intervention education creates a well-focused staff effort to create safe premises. The staff checking and ongoing communication with patrons create the opportunity for staff policy interventions. The staff controls promote patron safety on the premises. The key to creating safety for your patrons is house policy enforcement.  Civility entails treating others with respect; practicing good manners, and considering the feelings of other persons affected by patron's behaviors. The staff that educates patrons on self-disciplined behavior and patience in alcohol-serving establishments create the opportunity to save the patron from self-harm. Poly impairment of patrons creates repeating situations patrons state of confusion and lack of understanding of what he needs to do. Civility creates patron behaviors that reduce conflict and create the ability to avoid self-harm.
